The End of GIP

It's officially ended.. Finally. People are leaving one by one and soon it will be my turn in another few days' time. Just had our last family video together cuz Chongmeng is leaving for Yunnan soon and Chuzhen is leaving for Fujian tmr morning.. tonight was the last night that everyone would be around.

We had a Hug Hug session when Chongmeng was about to leave the house for his gf's house and off to Yunnan after. Most probably will not get to see the rest of the pple by the time he's back from Yunnan as all of us would be gone by then except Reeve.

Sigh.. Hugging and bidding goodbye just reminded me of the scene at the airport when i was leaving Sg for China too. And sadness just sank in.

Had a last farewell dinner for our household at 阿英堡 restaurant near our house, together with Darren and Vincent who would be leaving tmr morning too..

When everything comes to an end.. memories are the only ones that stay eventually.

And i'm glad to say that, i've never regretted coming to GIP. :)

Last day at work.. been waiting for this day. Kinda sad to part with the colleagues, but oh well, im not exactly close to them too. So its still alright i guess. Took quite a lot of pictures around the company on the last day. hahaha..

My Department photo.. dun ask me why it looks like a class photo and i sat in the middle. It was my supervisor's idea cuz i was the 'graduated student', so im supposed to be the limelight. And can you spot the colleague who looks like Chen Xiao Chun? hahah..

Givaudan

This is the building which i'm in.. Givaudan has 2 main buildings.

Reeve came over to my department and brought me around the Production area! First time going there in my 22 weeks there man!

We need to be dressed like Smurf before going in.. with the disposable cap and shoe covers.

Here's the production area where they store the products and chemicals.. itd damn huge! Reminded me of the ikea warehouse store room hor?

Here's the shuttle bus which shuttle me back and fro to work everyday.. 5.02pm. The bus never fails to leave the company by 5pm. haha.. think i'll miss this knock off time when i start to work next time man. so early! China pple are slackers.. hee.. :D

Had a gathering of the CBE pple on the last day of our IA, at this Japanese restaurant with freeflow of sashimi and sake for only 150rmb.. And of cuz.. the greedy peeps got wasted cuz of freeflow of sake. hahaaha!

Off to clubbing at Muse after the buffet.. Music was not bad that night but was too tired and left early that night.. and there's school the next day!

Last day at Fudan.. we had our Graduation Ceremony at some lok kok hall in the Fudan campus. Finally i'm graduated! after the numerous ponning and sleeeping sessions.. hahaha.. Will miss the nice campus though.. and the so called 'harvard green patch'.

One by one was called out to receive the 'Report Book' and souvenir from the teacher..

We were given a Fudan postcard for keepsake too.

At the back theres my name and a personalised 成语 too written by one of the teachers.

This is our 'CT tutor" 鲍老师.. haha.. the one who always marked our attendance who later gave up doing so eventually, cuz the attendance too was shockingly poor. hee..

After the ceremony, the school treated us to a 8 course dinner at the Fudan restaurant.. hee.. food was quite nice though.

My housemates and i.. Chongmeng's face was so damn red from the beer.. haha.. can compete with me! Luckily he wasnt wasted that night.. else we would need to take care of him again!

That marked the end of our days at Fudan University and the end of our GIP Shanghai..
