Independent Day!!!

I went to Raffles City today!! Yes yes there's Raffles City in Shanghai too!! hahaha.. surprised right?? And it's located at "City Hall" of Shanghai called 人民广场 metro station. Took leave today to make bank account in Bank of China near my place cuz the company needs my account to transfer my pay into it.. and YES.. I'll be getting my pay this coming 25th!! Hopefully the HR department will transfer the money on dot else i'll be eating grass next week liao. :(

Since today is a slack day, so i decided to meet ZZ and my 2 other housemates Evon and Chuzhen at 人民广场 for dinner as all of them are working in Puxi which is the town of Shanghai. Unlike me.. I work in some ulu industrial park in Pudong and everyday is transported to and fro by the company shuttle bus.. damn boring la! Working in Puxi is like working in Orchard.. can dress up nice nice to work. I dun even bother to dress up to work in my company cuz u'll see everyone is wearing the SAME clothes everyday. Sian..

Come to think of it, today is still the first time i travel alone in China! hahah.. yes i mean without anybody accompanying me. Ever since i reached Beijing ive been travelling with my group of pple and even in Shanghai when i go to work, i travelled with Reeve who is in the same company as me.. so i'm always surrounded by bodyguards when im outside. lol..

Hmm.. was a bit afraid when i made my way to meet them alone juz now.. had a sudden mentallity that the pple around me could be some thiefs or baddies..haha! Think i was thinking too much.. and i started to scold myself for being such a paranoid. Crazy girl.. Back in Sg i wasn't even afraid to travel home alone when past midnight lor! Maybe cuz i was too used to having people to travel with me.. but its a good experience today. I'm independent k!! hee..

Anyway my tutee back in Sg is damn cute la. Dunno where she got my msn from and keep asking me when i'll go back Sg and asked if i can teach her when i return. Lol.. She juz sent me a message like this:
